| Are You There, Chelsea? | 1 |

Cancelled |
The show was enjoyable, for the most part. Some of the characters were a bit "forced," though, and the show never really found its audience. |

This is one of those shows that was basically cancelled before it even aired. Essentially they just burned off the episodes, airing double-doses over three weeks. It was entertaining and the cast was great! I personally believe that if they had given the show a Fall premier, it would have stood a better chance. Probably would have performed better than "Chelsea." |

I never watched this show, but I'll probably eventually discover it in reruns. The show got a season 5 renewal last year with the "Final Season" moniker just to up the episode count for syndication. |
| Fear Factor | 1 |
6 / 10? |
Cancelled |
The revival of this show just didn't pass the mustard... and there was a highly controversial episode involving bodily fluids of a donkey that resulted in the episode being yanked off the schedule in February and the show never returned. |
| The Firm | 1 |
22 |
Cancelled |
I'm only four episodes into the series, but I will watch it. I've saved every other episode on my DVR. I'll catch up during the summer probably, but the show's still done and over. |

| Friday Night Lights | 5 |

Nope... I never watched it! This show was unique, though, because it was technically cancelled, but DirecTV's "The 101 Network" decided to pitch-in financially in exchange for syndication rights. |
| Friends with Benefits | 1 |
12 / 13 |
Cancelled |
I wanted to watch this show, but its premier kept getting pushed back further and further. Finally, it aired at the end of last summer with little fanfare, and I didn't even know it broadcast! All but one episode was aired, with one episode available online only. |
| Harry's Law | 2 |

Cancelled |
This one is a HUGE disappointment. But, let me tell you where it went wrong... they COMPLETELY changed the premise of the show after the first season. They fired two cast members, and the show basically could have been retitled "Every Other Lawyer Show". I still liked the show, though. But anyway... I was hoping maybe if the show was cancelled that Kathy Bates would return to The Office... but that's probably not going to happen, given the direction that show has gone recently. |

I correctly predicted this show as tanking and stated it would be listed again here this year. It was a production nightmare, dealing with delays and creative changes, etc. Although I found it enjoyable, it certainly didn't find the audience it was looking for. |
| The Marriage Ref | 2 |
19 |
Cancelled |
I really liked this show. It was different, and cheap, so I'm really not sure why they didn't keep it at least as a summer season. They did make several changes between season 1 and season 2, but it wasn't enough to bring in the ratings. |
| Minute to Win It | 2 |
? |
Cancelled |
Like "Deal or No Deal," the concept just gets tiresome. |
| The Playboy Club | 1 |
3 / 13 |
Cancelled |
The first casualty of the 2011-2012 broadcast season, this show just didn't live up to the hype. It was boring. It wasn't really about the club. I didn't even bother watching the third episode, and it was cancelled the next day. I'll sum it up like this: great idea, horrible execution. |
| Prime Suspect | 1 |

| The Sing-Off | 3 |

Like we needed another singing competition show anyway??? I never watched it. |
| Who Do You Think You Are? | 3 |
27 |
Cancelled |
This one caught me off guard, I'll be honest! The show has to be cheap to produce, even though it does involve flying the subject around the world, because it's subsidized by Ancestry.com. The ratings were somewhat decent, considering what it is, and that it was a Friday night show anyway. I suppose there just wasn't room on the schedule for it. Perhaps it will get revived elsewhere. The British version, of which this show was based on, is exceptionally successful. So this is just odd, I think. |

| Smash | Renewed |
Smash was renewed for a second season, however, it remains unscheduled. One of two things will happen: (1) They will hold the show over for mid-season, or (2) they will air the show as soon as enough of their new dramas tank... and you know they will, because the once drama-king, is now a drama-dud. |
| The Voice | Renewed |
This show will be airing in the fall for the first time. It will ALSO be airing again in the spring, so now the show will compete with both American Idol (spring) and The X Factor (fall). Should be interesting. |
| The Celebrity Apprentice | Renewed |
Sort of surprised they've decided to air just hour-long versions of the episodes. Either way, I love this show and can't wait for another season! |
| Do No Harm | Greenlit |
Phylicia Rashad ("The Cosby Show," "Cosby") returns to NBC in this drama-thriller about a Neurosurgeon who has an alter-ego who suddenly takes over and decides he wants to be in charge now. |
| Revolution | Greenlit |
From producer J.J. Abrams, this new intriguing drama tells the tale of the world without electricity. Something happened one day, and suddenly the world is simply without juice! Fifteen years have passed since the blackout, and there's one man who had something to do with it... but what? and why? The case is mostly unknowns, at least unknowns to me. |
| Go On | Greenlit |
New sitcom starring Matthew Perry ("Friends," "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip") as a sportscaster who's going through some personal issues and his boss refuses to let him back on the air until he completes some counseling, which he does by joining a support group. Also starring Laura Benanti ("Eli Stone," "The Playboy Club") and Suzy Nakamura ("The West Wing," "Back to You"). |
| The New Normal | Greenlit |
In a very "Modern Family"-esque fashion, this show attempts to present how "normal" is very subjective in families today. This show comes from Ryan Murphy ("Glee," "American Horror Story") and the only real big name is Ellen Barkin, who ironically, guest starred in an episode of Modern Family last year! |
| Parenthood |
|
Expect this to be it for the Braverman clan. Just 15 episodes for this fourth season, which will put it at 68 episodes for the whole series. The ratings fairy would have to slather this show with kindness or the rest of NBC's drama shows would have to tank for Parenthood to get a fifth season, in my opinion. Although, I do think season 3 performed better than season 2. So maybe it's finally finding its audience? |
| Animal Practice |
|
Imagine every other "unorthodox-doctor" show you've ever seen, except this one is about a vet, not a physician. Yes, Justin Kirk ("Weeds") plays a vet with his own unique style of practicing. And of course, there's a romantic element with his new boss. Also starring Bobby Lee ("MadTV"), Tyler Labine ("Suns of Tucson"), and Kym Whitley ("The Parkers," "School Pride," "Sparks"). I don't give this show much of a chance. |
| Guys with Kids |
|
Simple formula... 30-something year old men who haven't quite accepted growing up but now have to learn how to adapt to life as a dad. Produced by Jimmy Fallon ("Saturday NIght Live," "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon"), this show stars Jesse Bradford ("Outlaw"), Anthony Anderson ("Law & Order," "The Bernie Mac Show"), Sara Rue ("Less than Perfect," "Rules of Engagement"), Jamie-Lynn Sigler ("The Sopranos"), and Tempestt Bledsoe ("The Cosby Show, "Clean House," "The Tempestt Bledsoe Show"), who like her TV-mom, makes her return to the Peacock Network! The premise sounds tired, but the cast sounds great. |
| Chicago Fire |
|
Created and produced by Dick Wolf ("Law & Order"), this series takes place at a Chicago firehouse. Starring David Eigenberg ("Sex and the City"), Lauren German ("Hawaii Five-0"), Taylor Kinney ("Trauma"), Monica Raymund ("Lie to Me"), Jesse Spencer ("House"), and Eamonn Walker ("Oz"). |
| 30 Rock |
|
This will be the end for the gang in studio 6H. The show is being advertised as the "7th and Final Season" and only has an order for 13 episodes, with a near-certainty of that being all she wrote! Both Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin have said they're ready for the show to end, and their contracts happen to end after season 7 anyway. |
| Whitney | Renewed |
This already low-rated sitcom is being used to kick off the new Friday night comedy block on NBC. That will be a disaster, and Whitney will almost certainly kill "Community," acting as a weak lead-in. |
| Community |
|
Although the show was given a surprise renewal, it's not quite going to be at the magic number for syndication. The strength and performance of the new Friday night comedy block will tell the tale of Community's fate. But with Whitney as a lead-in... I think it'll be time to graduate from Greendale. Let's not forget, Chevy Chase MIGHT not be back unless he and Dan Harmon can come to terms. Of course, Harmon might depart the show himself. Either way, it should be an interesting (final?) season. |
| Save Me |
|
This comedy (yes, it's considered a comedy) is about a woman who experienced a near-death situation and now has a "direct line" to God. Starring Anne Heche ("Hung"), Michael Landes ("Lois & Clark"), Alexandra Breckenridge ("American Horror Story," "Dirt," "Family Guy"), Heather Burns ("Bored to Death") who is best known for playing Cheryl Frasier in the "Miss Congeniality" movies, and teen-actress Madison Davenport ("Shameless"). |
| 1600 Penn |
|
Described as "Modern Family" meets "The West Wing," this situation comedy is about the first family, and the craziest first family you've ever seen to boot!! From "Modern Family" producer/director Jason Winer ("Kath & Kim," "Samantha Who?"), starring Jenna Elfman ("Dharma & Greg," "Accidentally on Purpose"), Bill Pullman ("Torchwood"), Martha MacIsaac ("Greek," "Emily of New Moon"), and Josh Gad ("Back to You," "Woke Up Dead") |
| Next Caller |
|
A fish-out-of-water type of situation comedy, where Dane Cook ("Crank Yankers") plays a Howard Stern type of character who is forced to share his microphone with a feminist NPR personality played by Collette Wolfe ("100 Questions," "Traffic Light" "Cougar Town"). Also starring Joy Osmanski ("The Loop," "Samantha Who?," "True Jackson, VP"), Wolé Parks ("As the World Turns"), and Jeffrey Tambor ("The Larry Sanders Show," "Max Headroom," "Hill Street Blues," "The Ropers," "Arrested Development"). |
| Infamous |
|
A new drama where a young socialite and party girl is found dead at 32. The FBI investigates, but something doesn't quite add up. The two leads are fairly unknown, but the supporting cast includes Victor Garber ("Eli Stone," "Alias," "Web Therapy"), Tate Donovan ("Damages," "Friends"), Katherine LaNasa ("Judging Amy," "Three Sisters"), Neil Jackson ("Make It or Break It," "Upstairs Downstairs," "FlashForward"), and Ella Rae Peck ("Gossip Girl"). |
| Hannibal |
|
This show from "Pushing Daisies" creator Bryan Fuller, tells the story of Dr. Hannibal Lecter.... before he became a serial killer ("Silence of the Lambs"). Starring Hugh Dancy ("The Big C"), the show is still heavily in development and no other casting has been announced. |
| Stars Earn Stripes |
|
From reality TV guru Mark Burnette ("Survivor," "The Apprentice," "The Voice") and the man behind the "Law & Order" franchise, Dick Wolf, comes a unique celebrity reality show where celebrities must complete missions inspired by real military exercises in a show that is dedicated to the honoring the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces. |
Howie Mandel's White Elephant |
|
This game show hosted by Howie Mandel ("America's Got Talent," "Deal or No Deal," "Bobby's World") is based on the popular Dirty Santa game where contestants choose an unmarked box and must decide whether to keep or steal the prizes from other contestants. |
| Ready for Love |
|
Produced by Eva Longoria ("Desperate Housewives"), yet another dating reality show, hosted by Bill & Giuliana Rancic ("Guiliana and Bill"). |
| Surprise with Jenny McCarthy |
|
A "unique variety show," starring Jenny McCarthy ("Singled Out," "Two and a Half Men") that centers around heartwarming surprises. |
